What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Diagnose & Repair:
    Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems (heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, AC units, and ductless mini-splits).

  • Deliver 5-Star Service:
    Walk homeowners through diagnostic findings, clearly explain repair vs. replacement options, and deliver transparent pricing.
  • Quality Workmanship:
    Execute precise installations, system tune-ups, and startups following local Philadelphia building codes and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain Equipment:
    Keep your company truck clean, organized, and properly inventoried with necessary parts.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Assist junior technicians and apprentices when needed, fostering a supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For (Job Requirements)

  • Experience:
    3+ years of hands-on residential or light commercial HVAC service/installation experience.
  • Certifications:
    EPA 608 Universal Certification required. (NATE certification is a major plus!)
  • Driver’s License:
    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (insurable).
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficient in reading schematics, using diagnostic tools, brazing, electrical troubleshooting, and airflow measurements.
  • Physical Capability:
    Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, work in attics/basements/crawlspaces, and navigate ladders.
  • Background Screening:
    Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
